Since its founding in 2004, PLUME CO., LTD. has created new value out of encounters, passions, and connections. Beginning with the import and planning of Italian apparel, we grew into e-commerce, and then into offshore fishing. Nurturing each business in step with the times, we deliver products and services with flexible thinking from our base in Aoshima, Miyazaki.

In 1991, I began my career at an import trading company. After going independent, I traveled regularly to Italy and built a way to deliver fine craftsmanship at affordable prices. From the dawn of the internet came "bleuclair," and from a personal love of fishing came "AMBERJACK."

In 2021, I moved to Miyazaki. Surfing — which I had taken up again after more than twenty years — gave me a push forward. Even in a world swept by the tides of globalism, I will not give up on Japan. From Miyazaki to the world, I keep taking on challenges with conviction.

Planning, import, and wholesale of Italian-made OEM products. We opened on Rakuten in the early days of online shopping and pioneered e-commerce sales.

Fishing

We run the offshore fishing store "AMBERJACK" (BtoC) and the Miyazaki-born brand "ISOLABLEU" (BtoB), and serve as the Japanese import agent for Italy's PRATIKO.

Drawing on e-commerce experience since 2006, we provide hands-on support for launching, operating, and selling on Rakuten, Yahoo!, makeshop, Shopify, and other platforms.

Together with my wife and our dog Cyrus — a family of two and one — I cherish each day. I am clumsy and often unable to do what others manage with ease, yet every day I feel how I am sustained by the support of many people.

Even through the harsh economic conditions since our founding, I move forward with the creed of cherishing each day. Even in a modern Japan swept by the tides of globalism, I will never give up on Japan. From Miyazaki to the world.
